Your Role

RPM has undergone significant and ant transformation over the last several years, due to its explosive growth in the brokerage market, RPM is looking for the ultimate team player who creates value in any situation. As a Carrier Sales Representative you will build strong relationships with carriers, helping them optimize their fleet by negotiating the right price, and partnering with our customer sales team to ensure on-time delivery for the overall RPM experience.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Establish, expand, and cultivate relationships with carriers in the freight and auto hauling marketplace
  • Identify, source, and procure new carrier relationships at key stakeholder levels
  • Manage carrier network to ensure the ultimate RPM experience
  • Maintain constant contact with carriers to secure additional truck capacity and manage existing business
  • Utilize RPM’s proprietary software to make informed buying decisions
  • Navigate RPM’s Transportation Management System and related tools to manage daily load operational tasks
  • Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Must be self-motivated and bring a can-do attitude to the job
  • Work full-time M-F, and willing to work outside normal business hours based on the needs of the business
