Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Senior Specialist position is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is driving our guest experience and ecommerce initiatives across our many resort websites. An ideal fit for this role would be a data-driven, guest-centric marketer who is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience through websites and mobile applications.

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $56,485.00 - $71,874.28
  • Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute functional changes on the websites to support seasonal transitions, feature enhancements, personalization, and A/B tests.
  • Triage and troubleshoot app and website bugs to support content editors, A/B testing, and new feature launches.
  • Conduct CMS tool training and provide ongoing support for app and website content editors.
  • Collaborate with IT and Product Owners on new platform functionality, improvements, best practices, and break fixes.
  • Support ecommerce product enablement through planning, product configuration, and testing of various product lines across the company (including season passes, lift tickets, ski school, and rentals).
  • Maintain best practices and documentation resources to be used by website editors, IT, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support lift/terrain/weather management platform configuration, which impacts each resort website and mobile app experience.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position (marketing, e-commerce, app, or other online marketing).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Management Information Systems) preferred.
  • Experience working with content management systems, like Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal, Umbraco, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting and leading meetings.
  • Experience problem solving with stakeholders outside immediate team and explaining technical issues in business terms.
  • Experience prioritizing multiple tasks concurrently based on larger goals.

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $56,485.00 - $71,874.28. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
