Job Description

Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections is seeking a Communications Associate to join their team. As a Communications Associate, you will be part of the Communications Department supporting various outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Communications Liaison Driver

Pay Rate: $20/hr

What's the Job?

• Respond to inquiries and requests directed to the Candidate Services department via phone, email, and in person.
• Answer questions and share voting and elections information with the public.
• Provide voter registration instructions and informational material at offsite outreach events (must have reliable transportation).
• Assist in maintaining electronic and hard copy records.
• Support the administrative needs of the Communications department.

What's Needed?

• 4 years of direct experience or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year degree granting college or university.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than seven points.
