Location: The University of Oklahoma Medical Center
Shift: Full-time, 40/hrs per Week, 4 10's, 7:30a-6p
Staff enjoy the flexibility of self-scheduling and the variety of procedures performed in our department. We have a great team with a crew who values teamwork. The physician group that we work with are very personable and enjoy teaching! Experience in critical care or emergency room is preferred.
General Description: An OU Health Registered Nurse (RN) I works under general supervision, providing the highest quality of care to patients in a hospital setting with health problems ranging from simple to complex. RN I represents the nurse who is a novice or an advanced beginner advancing to competent. While advancing from novice to competent, the nurse relies on rules rather than principles which are independent of specific situations. The advanced beginner may have enough real experience to begin to formulate principles.
Essential Responsibilities
*Minimum Qualifications (RN I):
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
License/Certification/Registration:
*Minimum Qualifications (RN II):
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
License/Certification/Registration:
*Minimum Qualifications (RN III):
Education:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
