Job Title: Room Attendant
Location: Hampton Inn, Colchester, VT
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Position Summary:
At Hampton Inn Colchester, we are committed to delivering the highest level of comfort and cleanliness for our guests. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a positive guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Hampton standards.
Replace used towels and linens with clean items.
Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities.
Dust and vacuum guest rooms and hallways.
Make beds and change bed linens.
Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost & found items to the supervisor.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest information and belongings.
Follow proper procedures for key control and housekeeping cart organization.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets and carts.
Comply with hotel safety and sanitation policies, including OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced hotel environment.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals (training and PPE provided).
May require standing, bending, lifting, and kneeling for extended periods.
